In Year 1/2 our amazing designers evaluated the puppets that they designed and made in D.T. They considered their experience of three joining techniques: gluing, pinning and stapling. They also thought about their character design and what they would change. The children were excited about showing their puppets to the other classes. Amazing job everyone!

Our amazing Year 3/4 children rocked Children's Mental Health Week with their incredible artwork exploring 'This is my place' theme! 🏠✨ Their creative expressions show how powerful art can be in understanding emotions and personal spaces.

All of our amazing Kingsway children have taken part in Children’s Mental Health week and thought about where they belong, where they feel safe and how they can welcome others. It was lovely to see the children and staff wearing the clothes that made them feel happy and comfortable and to be able to talk about where they felt safe and where they belonged.

We’re looking for a new School Governor. Can you help?
At Kingsway we’re committed to ensuring all our pupils thrive in a learning community.
Part of this community is our governing board, made up of dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference and help shape the future of our school.
As a Community Governor, you don’t need to be an education expert. We recognise that some of the best learning comes from working alongside people with different backgrounds. Just bring your experience, perspective, and a passion to support the future of our school!
The role only takes about 2 hours a month of your time, and you’ll be joining a very friendly and supportive group.
If this sounds like something you’d like to do, becoming a Governor could be one of the most rewarding decisions you’ll ever make.
