Our creative year 5/6 children have been showcasing some of their amazing pouches, that they designed and made in their DT lessons. The children learned how to thread a needle, make a knot, do running, back and cross stitching. They embellished the bags using buttons, laces and sequins to make them look appealing. Don't they look amazing?

In Year 1/2 our amazing designers evaluated the puppets that they designed and made in D.T. They considered their experience of three joining techniques: gluing, pinning and stapling. They also thought about their character design and what they would change. The children were excited about showing their puppets to the other classes. Amazing job everyone!

All of our amazing Kingsway children have taken part in Children’s Mental Health week and thought about where they belong, where they feel safe and how they can welcome others. It was lovely to see the children and staff wearing the clothes that made them feel happy and comfortable and to be able to talk about where they felt safe and where they belonged.
