Our amazing Year 5/6 children were very excited to meet Ruebyn Ricardo ( a Professional Football referee in the Premier League) today! He gave a truly motivational speech about the importance of hard work and resilience. Ruebyn placed a huge emphasis on the importance of the supportive adults around the children, who are ready and willing to help and guide them. He encouraged the children to ask for and accept any support they need. The children were delighted to have the opportunity for autographs too. Everyone was left feeling very inspired! Our explorative EYFS children have settled beautifully into full time school! Their current book of the week is 'My 5 Senses', so some of the activities in the provision, encourage the children to- look carefully, touch the resources to match them or to listen to the sounds they are making.
